U.S. CENTRAL COMMAND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Feb. 1, 2019) U.S. Marines with Marine Attack Squadron 223, attached to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command, load guided bomb unit laser joint direct attack munitions weapons system onto an AV-8B Harrier to prepare the aircraft for operations in the region. As a quick reaction force, the SPMAGTF-CR-CC is capable of deploying aviation, ground and logistical forces forward at a moment's notice, and supports Operation Inherent Resolve, working by, with, and through the partner forces to defeat ISIS.
