The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District hoses down the Black Rock Lock's main gates in preparation for laying them down in the District reservation's parking lot, Buffalo, NY, Jan. 12, 2019. The gates were removed in order to conduct anchorage repairs, improving the Black Rock Lock infrastructure and sustaining functionality for future navigation seasons.
