Royal Air Force Squadron Leader Bob, a Coalition Aviation Advisory and Training Team senior air advisor, and an Iraqi airfield manager check to ensure the automated weather observation system is accurately calibrated for the altitude of the flight line at Camp Taji, Iraq, Nov. 30, 2018. With this equipment, Taji airfield managers can now inform all the aircraft and aircrew using Taji’s airfield of the latest meteorological data. The Iraqi air enterprise will ultimately provide Iraq with the self-sufficient air capabilities required by a sovereign nation to protect its borders and defeat internal threats.
