SAIPAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Jan. 10, 2019) – An Airman from Joint Task Group Engineer slides a sheet of roofing tin into place to be screwed down on a home in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Jan. 10, that was damaged by Super Typhoon Yutu. Military service members from Joint Region Marianas and Indo-Pacific Command are proud of their efforts to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency and work with the CNMI’s civil and local officials to recover from the devastating impacts of Super Typhoon Yutu, which hit the island Oct. 24, 2018.
