SAIPAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Jan. 10, 2019) – Airmen take quick break in the hot, humid, midday sun on top of a resident’s roof in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Jan. 10,where they have been repairing and replacing metal roofing damaged from Super Typhoon Yutu. Military service members from Joint Region Marianas and Indo-Pacific Command are proud of their efforts to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency and work with the CNMI’s civil and local officials to recover from the devastating impacts of Super Typhoon Yutu, which hit the island Oct. 24, 2018.
