Fallon Emery, a new honorary member of the 437th Operations Support Squadron, sits with her sister Mae while learning about an explosive ordnance disposal protective suit Nov. 7, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., as part of the Airman for a Day program. During her visit, 14-year-old Emery also toured a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft and flight simulator, controlled an EOD robot and met with 437th Airlift Wing senior leaders. The Airman for a Day program recognizes the resilience of children battling various illnesses by enabling them to observe Air Force units and experience their culture for a day.
