181228-N-ME396-139 GROTON, Conn. (Dec. 28, 2018) – Chef David Bortnem prepares a freshly-grilled hog to be served as part of a special dinner for Sailors at Cross Hall Galley. Bortnem along with Chef Kristopher “Plum” Plummer, host of the radio show "Plum Luv Foods", and a few other culinary friends spent the day teaching, cooking and interacting with Navy Culinary Specialists at the base and helped serve the specially prepared meal along with some holiday cheer to more than 700 Sailors and galley patrons.
