(Dec. 10, 2018) Newly advanced Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) watch the frocking ceremony at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton. George Washington is undergoing refueling complex overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipyard. RCOH is a four-year project performed once during an aircraft carrier’s life-cycle that includes refueling of the ship's two nuclear reactors, repairs, upgrades and modernization.
