U.S. Army soldiers from Hawk Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment observe a Turkish land force soldier fire the MK-19 Dec. 7, 2011. The 2nd Cavalry Regiment is conducting a Small Unit Exchange with the Turkish army from Dec. 2, to Dec. 12, to build and develop an enduring relationship with the Turkish land forces. The United States Army Europe exchange is a 2-part exercise, with 2nd Cavalry Regiment deploying a squad sized element to train at the Turkish commando school and the Turkish army deploying a 10-man detachment to Rose Barracks to train with 2nd Cavalry Regiment.
