A U.S. Army soldier from Hawk Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment issues M2 .50 caliber ammunition to a Turkish soldier on 06 December 2011. 2nd Cavalry Regiment is conducting a Small Unit Exchange with the Turkish Army from Dec. 2 to Dec. 12, 2011, to build and develop an enduring relationship with the Turkish land forces. The exchange is a 2-part exercise, with 2nd Cavalry Regiment deploying a squad sized element to train at the Turkish commando school and the Turkish army deploying a 10-man detachment to Rose Barracks to train with 2nd Cavalry Regiment.
