U.S. Army Sgt. Cates from Hawk Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment conducts a safety briefing on the M2 .50 caliber with Turkish soldiers Dec. 6, 2011. Second Cavalry Regiment is conducting a Small Unit Exchange with the Turkish Army from Dec. 2 to Dec. 12, 2011 to build and develop an enduring relationship with the Turkish Land Forces. The exchange is a 2-part exercise, with 2nd Cavalry Regiment deploying a squad sized element to train at the Turkish commando school and the Turkish army deploying a 10-man detachment to Rose Barracks to train with 2nd Cavalry Regiment.
