NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Nov. 30, 2018) Master-at-Arms 1st Class Brandon Merriweather, from Savannah, Georgia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) security department, receives his frocking letter from Lt. Cmdr. Fred Masten, Ford's security officer, during a promotion ceremony onboard Ford. More than 125 Ford Sailors advanced from the Fall 2018 Navy-wide advancement exam.
