PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 19, 2018) Sailors inspect the flight deck and conduct maintenance on an MV-22 Osprey assigned to the "Flying Tigers" of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262, aboard the flight deck to the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, with embarked 31st MEU, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
