JR Hildebrand, U.S. National Guard IndyCar driver, drives on lap 8 while competing in the 2011 Izod Indy Car finale, Oct. 16, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Eleven laps into the race Hildebrand was involved in 15-car accident that claimed the life of former IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon. Hildebrand stayed overnight at University Medical Center after suffering a severely bruised sternum and was released Monday morning.
