JR Hildebrand, U.S. National Guard IndyCar driver, gets into his car before competing in the 2011 Izod IndyCar finale, Oct. 16, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Eleven laps into the race Hildebrand was involved in a 15-car accident that claimed the life of former Indy Car driver Dan Wheldon. Hildebrand stayed overnight at University Medical Center after suffering a severely bruised sternum and was released Monday morning.
