Ricky Raley, a retired infantryman with the Indiana National Guard, paralyzed from the waist down, rides a handcycle at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga., Aug. 21, 2018. HAAF was one of many stops for Raley during a 1,500-mile road trip from New York City to St. Petersburg, Fla., on a handcycle to raise awareness for the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries. Raley himself suffered a TBI during a deployment in Iraq and was paralyzed following a motor vehicle accident months after returning home from his deployment. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Sierra A.
