    Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa

    Sailors from the Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 2, Boat Detachment Charlie, use an 800-series Sea Ark to escort the USS Carney in the Gulf of Tadjoura, Djibouti, recently. The squadron provides a maritime security force in support of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, with the capability to employ trained and equipped units who provide force protection for designated assets and infrastructure. The squadron is home ported at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va.
