    U.S. Navy Seaman Sean Crawford, Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 2, Boat Detachment Charlie boatswain's mate, mans an M2 .50-caliber machine gun mounted on the front of an 800-series Sea Ark during a recent escort mission of the USS Carney in the Gulf of Tadjoura, Djibouti. The M2 is capable of firing more than 450 rounds a minute with an effective range of 1,800 meters.
