Dona Ana Military Camp, also called the RUBA (Rotational Unit Bivouac Area) at Fort Bliss, Texas, is in the distance as Soldiers with South Carolina National Guard’s 4-118th Armored Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, having left the RUBA and prepared to begin three-weeks of intense combined arms training at XCTC (Exportable Combat Training Capability) AUG. 6-28, 2018, at Fort Bliss, Texas. XCTC is a First Army and NGB coordinated live fire training exercise that provides an experience similar to Combat Training Centers and increases National Guard combat unit’s readiness and lethality.
