Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Adm. John C. Harvey Jr., addresses the audience during the Commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet disestablishment ceremony on board Naval Station Norfolk. C2F assets, personnel and responsibilities will merge into the new Fleet and Joint Operations organization at USFF. The disestablishment allows the Navy to continue the C2F mission while achieving vital cost-savings and a streamlined organizational structure.
