U.S. Marines from, Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and Groupe d’Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale troops explode a Bangalore charge during the BLT’s mil-to-mil partnership exercise aboard Camp Moussa, Djibouti July 17. The 13th MEU returned to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Sept. 29 after spending seven months as a Theater Reserve Force also providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in both 5th and 7th Fleet Areas of Responsibility.
