    USS Denver (LPD 9), USS Rushmore (LSD 47), USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) and USS Antietam (CG 54) follow the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) and USS O'Kane (DDG 77) during an exercise that tested the strike group's ability to defend itself against small boat attacks. Stennis, as part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, participated in the Expeditionary Strike Force Exercise consisting of three Strike Groups; the John C.
