CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait — Florida Gov. Rick Scott (right) speaks to Staff Sgt. Christopher Williams with Bravo Battery, 3rd Battalion, 116th Field Artillery Regiment, Florida National Guard about the capabilities of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) weapons system behind him. Williams, a HIMARS launcher chief, is from Palatka, Fla. and as a civilian works as a marine pipe fitter. He has a total of 17 years of Army service, 11 of those years with the Florida National Guard. “We met the governor in January when we first deployed.
