180630-N-DZ642-0112 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 30, 2018) Damage Controlman 2nd Class Aidan Chrockrem mans an M240 machine gun wearing a full Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) suit during a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapon (CBRN) general quarters (GQ) drill aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60). Normandy is currently deployed as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With Harry S. Truman as the flagship, deploying strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachsen-class German Frigate FGS Hessen (F 221).
