180628-N-JO245-406 ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 28, 2018) Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Vanessa McEwen organizes mail in the mess decks aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) during an underway replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command’s fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE). Forrest Sherman is underway for a scheduled deployment as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With Harry S. Truman as the flagship, deploying strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachsen-class German Frigate FGS Hessen (F 221).
