180628-N-JO245-078 ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 28, 2018) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Steven Schaffer signals to Sailors on the Military Sealift Command’s fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE) from aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) during a replenishment-at-sea. Forrest Sherman is underway for a scheduled deployment as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group. With Harry S. Truman as the flagship, deploying strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 28 and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1; as well as the Sachen-class German navy frigate FGS Hessen (F 221).
