A recruit with Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conducts crunches during a physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 25. In this portion of the test, recruits must perform as many crunches as possible within two minutes. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 10.
