U.S. Army soldiers are conducting a medical training exercise inside a military field hospital tent. Three soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are treating a simulated casualty on a litter, with realistic moulage (simulated wounds) including a mock traumatic amputation. The scenario appears to be a combat casualty care training drill, with personnel wearing medical gloves and using documentation tools.

Pfc. Ferris Bennett, healthcare specialist, assigned to the 1171st Area Medical Support Company, Michigan National Guard, takes notes as Spc. Jacqueline Finkbiner, healthcare specialist, also assigned to the 1171st AMSC, listens to a medic from the 4th Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), debrief the condition of an injured patient during a mass casualty exercise near Ziemsko Airfield, Poland, June 5, 2018. The MASCAL exercise was part of the validation phase for the 1171st Area Medical Support Company, Michigan National Guard, who is scheduled to deploy to the region sometime later next year.
