FIREBASE SAENZ, Helmand province, Afghanistan - Sgt. Terrance Nesbitt, a Huger, S.C., native and the Firebase Saenz communications chief, cuts a fellow Marine’s hair. The Marines of Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, do not have certain amenities like barber shops aboard their fire base. They must cut one another’s hair on a weekly basis to remain within Marine Corps regulation, even while deployed.
