NORFOLK, Va. (May 16, 2018) the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) gets underway from Naval Station Norfolk to conduct sea trials. It is the ship’s first time getting underway following a six-month Selected Restricted Availability managed by Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center. MARMC provides services for more than 70 ships in the Mid-Atlantic region to ensure ships and their crews are able to fulfill their missions with minimal repair and maintenance downtime.
