A member of the Kuwait marine unit practices hand-cuffing and searching techniques with Petty Officer 2nd Class Doug Newland, during training with visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) teams from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) as part of exercise Eager Mace 11-2. Eager Mace is a bilateral amphibious engagement between the armed forces of the U.S. and Kuwait. Comstock is underway supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
