    Airman 1st Class Melissa Edgmon, U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America vocalist, performs during a concert at the Ted Mann Concert Hall in Minneapolis, Minn., April 18, 2018. During the show she performed multiple songs, including “Let Me Fly,” a song written as a dedication to the Tuskegee Airmen from the Air Force musical “Born of a Dream.” She’s originally from Oklahoma City, and completed her Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Theater from the University of Central Oklahoma.
