Navy Lt. Gwendolyn Gentry, a health care administrator with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, offers a toast at the 3rd MLG 60th birthday celebration dinner April 20, 2018 at Butler Officers’ Club, Okinawa, Japan. In 1958, 3rd MLG was stood up as 3rd Force Support Regiment at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan under 3rd Marine Division. Since then, the unit has evolved over the decades to become a logistical powerhouse of the Pacific region, supplying countless combat and humanitarian operations over the last six decades.
