    HUD Grants $18.5 Billion to Help Puerto Rico Restore

    Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, April 10, 2018 - Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO) Michael Byrne, speaks with the Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Housing, Fernando Gil Enseñat, after a joint press conference with the the Sub-Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Pamela Hughes Patenaude. The Sub-Secretary announced that they will grant $18,500 millions to Puerto Rico, to assist in the recovery process after Hurricane María affected the island. The aid will be entrusted to the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). FEMA/Eduardo Martínez
