A series of power lines and substation connected to the Kajaki dam’s hydroelectric powerplant. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Afghanistan Engineer District-South and Afghan engineers recently completed installation of a primary switch center at the Kajaki dam to resolve electrical problems.
