Two naval vessels are conducting an underway replenishment (UNREP) operation at sea, with fuel hoses and transfer lines strung between them. A third vessel, likely an aircraft carrier, is visible in the background on the horizon. Notably, at least one dolphin is visible leaping in the water between the two ships.

180401-N-PH222-0467 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 1, 2018) Fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) conducts a replenishment-at-sea with San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23). Anchorage is underway with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) for an amphibious squadron and MEU integration (PMINT) exercise. PMINT is a training evolution between Essex Amphibious Ready Group and 13th MEU, which allows Sailors and Marines to train as a cohesive unit in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
