Soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard's 682nd Engineer Battalion removed HESCO barriers that served as a floodwall in downtown Minot, N.D., July 9. Using heavy equipment provided by the North Dakota National Guard, the 682nd deconstructed the sand-filled barriers and trucked them to the city dump thus returning the use of city streets and businesses to the local citizenry. Pfc. Jordan Sanoski and Spc. Ryan Thomas, 851st Vertical Engineer Company, consolidate HESCO barrier material for removal.
