More than 480 families have returned to a former ISIS strongholds in Anbar Province, according to local reports. Here, residents mingle in the streets as they attempt to return to normalcy. Following the fall of Mosul, Daesh members relocated to smaller towns and villages across Iraq. The Anbar Province became a hot bed for Daeshmembers on the run, and forced families to leave their homes. With the news of Coalition-trained Iraqi Tribal Mobilization Forces clearing the town of Daesh loyalists, establishing security, and initiating reconstruction of schools, hospitals and businesses, Anbar families are returning home. What awaits them is medical care, a budding governance, a rising education infrastructure, along with neighborly support. (Courtesy photo)
