OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 29, 2017) Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class James Simmons, assigned to the Fighting Tigers of Patrol Squadron Eight, performs a P-8A Poseidon aircraft inspection prior to an AGM-84D Harpoon missile onload at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Patrol Squadron 8 is currently forward deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations conducting missions and providing Maritime Domain Awareness to supported units throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
