    From above in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, homes with with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers installed blue roofs can be seen throughout the island. Homeowners with damaged roofs from Hurricanes Irma and Maria are illegible throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands for a temporary blue roof that allows homeowners to reside in their homes while they recover from the storms.
