Lance Cpl. Jonathan Crowe, Evansville, Ind., native and motor transport operator, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF, loads boxes into a 7-ton truck to be transported to a KC-130J Super Hercules cargo aircraft here March 18. The KC-130J will be used to transport supplies, equipment and personnel to mainland Japan during Operation Tomodachi. III MEF Marines and sailors are supporting government of Japan-led humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations in mainland Japan following the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that struck northern Japan March 11.
