170915-N- HS500-020 CAMP FUJI, JAPAN (Sept. 15, 2017) U.S. Army medical personnel, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, provide a demonstration on the administration of an intravenous therapy needle (IV) to medical personnel of the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force as part of exercise Orient Shield 2017 at Camp Fuji, Sept. 15, 2017. The exercise is designed to enhance U.S. and Japan combat readiness and interoperability at the tactical level while strengthening bilateral relationships and demonstrating U.S. resolve to support the security interests of friends and allies in the region.
