GINOWAN CITY, OKINAWA, Japan – Leading Pvt. Kana Nakazawa sings during the 22nd Annual Combined Band Concert Sept. 9 at the Ginowan Civic Hall in Ginowan City, Okinawa, Japan. The 15th Brigade Band performed the following: Overture to ‘”Candide,” “Island Sun” a folk tune of Okinawa, “You Raise Me Up” featuring vocal soloist, Nakazawa, followed by “Dynamica.” Members of the military and local communities filled the hall, lining the walls, and spilling from the top balcony onto the stairways as they enjoyed the harmony of the III MEF Band and the JGSDF 15th Brigade Band. Nakazawa is a member of the JGSDF infantry who supports the band.
