GINOWAN CITY, OKINAWA, Japan – Chief Warrant Officer Andres Navarro conducts the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band during the 22nd Annual Combined Band Concert Sept. 9 at the Ginowan Civic Hall in Ginowan City, Okinawa, Japan. The III MEF Band performed the following: “Pineapple Poll,” “Va, pensiero,” “Nabucco,” followed by “Children’s March,” then closed with “Verte Otra Vez.” The civic hall was at max capacity during this concert, with audience members lined along the walls, and sitting on the stairs. Navarro, a Caracas, Venezuela, native, is the band officer of the III MEF Band.
