A storm damaged Star Spangled Banner flies high above debris in the town of Lumberton, Texas on Sept. 11 in the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Harvey.
Soldiers assigned to Task Force Aleutian's Damage Assessment Team, a component of Task Force Arkansas, went out into the recently flooded community of Lumberton, to report the estimated damage to every single house, within their area of operations, to their higher command.
This photo serves only as a small snapshot of the overall devastation to the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
