U.S. Army Lt. Col. David G. Athey, from Augusta, Ga., commander, assigned to Tiger Squadron, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment and Iraqi Army Staff Col Adnan, commander, assigned to 34th Division of the 8th Iraqi Army cut the ribbon during the transfer and ribbon cutting ceremony of Forward Operating Base Kalsu to the 34th the Iraqi Army Division in Babel, Iraq, Feb. 28, 2011. U.S. soldiers with 3rd ACR turned over FOB Kalsu to the Iraqi Army as part of Operation New Dawn.
