JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 25, 2017) – Janet Walker (center), a medical assistant at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville’s Deployment Health, is presented the Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Tyquise J. Brooks Spirit Award by the Brooks family. The “Spirit” award was created to honor the life, memory, and legacy of HM3 Brooks. It’s presented to staff members who distinguish themselves on a daily basis by embodying the highest degree of kindness, compassion, positive attitude, and ongoing inspiration to all patients and staff at the clinic.
