JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 25, 2017) – Hospitalman Elyse Timmermann, a native of Pinckney, Michigan, takes the blood pressure of a patient at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville. Timmermann says she knew ever since she was 10 years old that she wanted to be in the U.S. Navy. “I went to a Blue Angels show and I found out the Navy had the best medical care in the world. After that, I had a life goal of being a doctor. Being a corpsman has put me on the path of achieving my goal. I want to make a career out of the Navy, help as many service members and their families as possible—they deserve the best.” (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
