Veterans participating in Operation Proper Exit share a laugh with deployed U.S. Army Soldiers after the Operation Proper Exit town hall meeting, Aug. 8, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Wounded combat veterans and a gold star father, will visit Iraq and Afghanistan as part of OPE, a program which enables them to return to theater and exit of their own terms. A gold-star family member is one who has lost a loved one at war.
