PACIFIC OCEAN – The crew chiefs of an UH-1Y Huey communicate with the pilots as they lower a pallet of supplies onto the flight deck aboard USS San Diego (LPD 22) during external lift training, July 31, 2017. The training refines the skills of the pilots and crew of the UH-1Y Huey as they lift loads of pallets in preparation to transport equipment. The 15th MEU and America Amphibious Ready Group are operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance regional partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
